What Terry helps with

Terry’s main focus is people living with persistent or ongoing pain. That means pain that has lasted longer than expected, keeps coming back, or is affecting work, sleep, movement and everyday life.

He also sees a wide range of other problems, including neck and back pain, headaches, joint and muscle pain, sports and overuse injuries, work-related and postural discomfort, and reduced mobility.

Terry's Approach

Terry’s approach is practical and built around education. He takes time to understand each person’s story and goals, and the wider things that can affect pain, such as the nervous system, sleep, stress, activity and work. Treatment combines hands-on techniques with pain science education and self-management strategies. He’s a strong advocate of movement as part of managing pain.

Terry uses a range of techniques tailored to the individual, including soft tissue work, joint mobilisation and articulation, movement and graded activity.

He works closely with other health professionals where it helps, including GPs, pain specilaists, psychologists and exercise physiologists. With your consent, he’ll share relevant information to help coordinate your care.
